www.inkthinkerblog.com — No, really! Tonight is the first night of my third semester in the publishing MPS program at George Washington University. This semester I’m taking Marketing Strategies and Production Management. And you thought COPYRIGHT LAW was fun… Actually, Copyright Law was fun. Book Design, on the other hand, sucked. But that’s a story for another day. I have to get beautiful (or at least, you know, dressed since I’m still in my PJs–I love working from home!) and out the door ASAP because there’s a pre-first-night-of-class cocktail party. I wonder who came up with that.
“Hey, I have a great idea.”
“What is it?”
“Let’s get smashed and then go to school!”
“Awesome!”
Wish me luck.

I just looked at the program’s page and noticed that Beverly Jane Loo is the director. I attended a summer publishing institute at UVA with her several years ago. The publishing program she ran at UVA was shut down because of funding problems. I wondered what happened to her. I loved her! Anyway, looks like a great program at GW. If I were still in the DC area…
Small world!
