National Do Not Call List for Cell Phones

www.inkthinkerblog.com — According to some info my husband forwarded me, cell phone numbers are going to be released to telemarketing companies in November. I have no idea whether it’s true, but there’s no harm in calling the National Do Not Call Registry to add your cell phone number to the list so you don’t get charged airtime for solicitations. Using the phone you want to register, dial 888-382-1222 and follow the prompts (or just go to their website). It takes less than a minute. I’ve done it for all of my phones and saw a huge decrease in unsolicited calls very quickly, so I’m all for it. Your mileage may vary, so use your good judgment.
