Day 1 of a 2-Day Week

www.inkthinkerblog.com — I love/hate holiday weeks. I don’t celebrate holidays, but my family does, and Thanksgiving is the only chance I get to visit with a certain branch of my dad’s side of the family, so we make the trek to upstate NY every year for a visit. It’s fun, it’s delicious, it’s a really long drive. And there’s no cell service. And there’s no internet. And although I love it, it stresses me out because I hate being unconnected. So…I’m trying to cram as much connectivity as possible into the next two days!

Here’s what’s on the plate for today:
– Some back and forth on my new consulting gig – DONE
– Biz lunch (yum!) in DC with a potential scholarly publishing client
– Some rewriting project work (it’s time for holiday newsletters, folks!)
– Edit three medical journal articles
– Mystery novel critique
– Couple of quotes
– Skool (next week is the final and then I’m OFF for WEEKS!)

What are you working on today?

Let’s see, I’ve written 16 jewelry descriptions and 12 multiple choice math questions so far. I’m also supposed to edit a 24-page report, but my client seems not to have the time or inclination to okay the cost I’ve quoted her. Sooo, that may be off the agenda for today. Have a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks for sharing your menu for the day, Kathy. Sounds like a really interesting mix of projects. :]

Enjoy the holiday, toots! Let me know when you’re in town. If I’m off, I’ll meet up!

Lori, we had to drop Pickles off at her grandparents’ house, so we went WAAAAY west of you. Next trip, and hopefully we’ll have the puppy with us then!
