The flowers hearken to an earlier era, during which I went through a sunflower/zinnia/daisy phase in my marketing materials, as evidenced by these two failed website designs, which I decided I hated as soon as I finished them, despite the fact that I did and still do love bright, splashy colors and flowers:


We’ve got a little pink and gold (and some bright, contrast-y blue, too!), which you know I love:
And of course, my beloved tag line, from the days of the minimalist version of the site:

I’m definitely pleased with the final product. And no, it’s not exactly the same as my current site, which uses a softer pink, simpler font, and more refined style, but I think the combo of the two works nicely, and both together and individually they accurately represent my style and my business. And isn’t that the goal of all marketing materials?
