www.inkthinkerblog.com — Pomegranates. I’m addicted to pomegranates. During the winter, I go through about five of those amazing things a week. I’m a pom-a-day kind of gal.
I think I craved pomegranate my whole life, but didn’t know that was what I wanted until a couple of years ago, when a friend gave me one she picked up at the Amish market. It was delicious, and I ate it one seed at a time.
Pomegranates have nothing to do with writing. It’s been a rough day, however, and that does have something to do with writing — and the pomegranate I’m eating right now, seed by seed, is reminding me that sometimes you miss the flavor in life if you don’t take some time to slow down and savor it a little at a time. That was definitely missing from my day today. Here’s hoping that tomorrow I can consume the day as slowly and with as much delight as I do this gorgeous red fruit.

Kristen..I am a fellow freelance writer and find your blog and your site very helpful in the way of “been there done that” – so thank you- you are interesting!
I was wondering, how do I get my site submitted to search engines without paying?
Thanks, CSA
Pomergranates are the food of Persephone, the underworld, and the unconscious. May it spark a great deal of creativity for you — and joy!
What a “refreshing” post….
I really enjoy reading your stuff. I have been freelancing for a long while and when I started frequenting forums, I saw your name everywhere. I would love to talk to you further if you have a messenger program etc.
Carrie, I’m going to address that in a separate post, so keep your eyes open.
D.E., I’m eating WAY more than six seeds. What does that mean for this winter? ;]
Jessica, you are such a sweetie. I think I recognize you from AW. Does that sound likely? I do have IM, but I try to avoid it because it’s like a time-wasting vortex when I get to chatting. Feel free to e-mail me any time!

VERY nice message, Kristen. You’ve inspired me to make sure this holiday isn’t marred by sixteen thousand “yesterday” deadlines. Thanks! I’m going to go have a Clementine in your honor. :))
