Quiz writing: A great idea

www.inkthinkerblog.com — Liz (a.k.a. KIWIWRITER) said I read her mind when I posted my links to goals and resolutions blog post earlier today, and she returned the favor when she mentioned an article she found about writing quizzes (courtesy of freelance guru Kelly James-Enger, published at Writing-World.com).

Writing quizzes is…
(a) something I’ve wanted to do forever
(b) something I’ve never thought of before
(c) something I think I’d be good at
(d) none of the above
(e) both a and c

Every time I pick up any magazine ever, I roll my eyes at the quizzes. I don’t know which is worse: the questions themselves, or the names of the results categories. I always think of Cosmo and teen mags when I think of cheezy quizzes.

That makes me…
(a) a Trash-Talkin’ Tramp?
(b) a Courageous Cuddler?
(c) a Daring Diva?
(d) a Man-Eating Mama?
(e) nauseated?

At any rate, I’m definitely going to add this article to my arsenal for 2007. Thanks for pointing it out, Liz!
