Today I took a 2-hour nap and I feel So. Much Better. Seriously, why don’t I nap every day? Oh, wait, because I can’t get everything done in 24 hours, much less 24 – 8 hours of night sleep – 2 hours of day sleep. That must be it.

Naps rule!!!
Oh, I am definitely a napper. It helps that I have a young one who needs one in the middle of the day. I need my sleep, as I don’t get enough and need at least 10 hrs/day to function properly.
In all honesty, I function best with 10-12 hours of sleep under my belt. I’ve got a HUGE sleep deficit left over from college, so I’m trying to catch up a bit. Rush jobs and tight deadlines are working against me the last week, though. Bah.

I do miss napping. When I was pregnant I could get away with it more, now there’s too much to get done. You can bet once my son starts school full time, I’ll sneak in some couch time once or twice a week.
I know what you mean. Plus if I nap, then it’s harder to get up in the morning so I sleep later and then I lose even MORE time during the day!
I’m all for encouraging the siesta! We as writers should start building the momentum behind it. Hey, if Paris Hilton can become a celebrity just by acting like a spoiled child (with strong media behind her), why can’t we do our part to instill the afternoon nap? :))
Shall I comment on this blog or one of your other ones in order to get you to exercise? I am not that bright to be honest, so I need it to be dead simple. Let me know using a comment on my blog, OK?
Naps are the best! My cat gets as excited about taking a nap w/ me as he does dinner! My kind of man!
