Yesterday, I sent out two queries: one to a local parenting magazine and one to AARP. I think both of my ideas rocked, so I’m hopefully that I’ll get at least acknowledgment, if not acceptance. I almost didn’t query the local mag because I want to break into national parenting pubs, but this idea is so customizable and I have such good ideas for national sources that I’ll still be able to spin it appropriate, so I went for it!
I still haven’t sent my Psychology Today query, but I’m working on it!

Hey Kristen, way to go (cheering the head cheerleader)! Thus far I’ve sent out three queries/submissions (since you did ultimately decide submissions count). I hope to get a few more out this weekend, but we shall see.
