Message:
Hi there Kristen,Another editor here at the magazine found your resume on Craigslist and passed it along to me. I edit our [special publication coming up soon], which includes [details about what they’re looking for]. The next issue comes out [later this year]. …The copy deadline would be [XYZ]; we pay [$XX]/word. Let me know if you’d like to pitch anything.
[Love, Magazine Editor]
How cool is that? The really funny thing is that pitching this publication was on my list of things to do this week. Ah, timing.

That’s great to hear, Kristen. For web designers, I see nothing but people wanting to only pay a couple hundred dollars for a site. :(

Hmmm. I’ve looked at craigslist for jobs (even got a promising lead on one.) But, I haven’t posted a resume.
Do you want to blog about what to include on a craigslist resume and show us some examples?

Congrats! Did the Craig’s List guide play a role in this? I.e., did you change the language of your ad based on its recommendations?

Very cool! I never realized that it was possible to post a resume on Craigs list. Thanks for the tidbit!
