For those of you participating in the 2007 Query Challenge, please e-mail me with your final numbers through December so I can tabulate the totals. Please also e-mail me your success stories so we can celebrate with you! An announcement will be going out to the mailing list, too, but I know not everyone is receiving those messages, so just to be safe, here we are.
The second half of the Challenge kind of deteriorated as I got overwhelmed with stuff, but next year’s Challenge is going to be slightly different and decidedly better organized, with more prizes and more ways to succeed. I will keep you posted as I finalize the plans. We will launch on January 1, so keep your eyes peeled for more details!

Yeah, my own plans fell apart earlier this year, partly because of my getting a full-time job that was really physically demanding. I probably won’t be joining next year’s challenge, as I really want to put most of my efforts on getting my novel published. However, I wish you the best and will continue to be a loyal reader of your blog. Keep up the great work, and happy holidays!

Marjorie, I’m trying to figure out a way to make the challenge work for folks like you, who maybe aren’t interested in magazines or are doing other things to sell their work. More soon on that.
