www.inkthinkerblog.com — I know it seems like we just did this, probably because we DID just do this, but the Kings are moving again — this time with 6 pets instead of 3 and to another part of the country instead of just down the road a ways.
The Short Story
Jesse’s sister moved to CO and now he wants to go, too, and so do I. He has several job opportunities out there, and I can work from anywhere, so off we go!
The Problem
We can’t leave until we sell or rent our house.
The Solution
If you or someone you know may be interested in renting or purchasing a beautiful 3BR/2BA custom home in Caroline County, VA, within 30 minutes of Richmond and Fredericksburg and less than 90 minutes from DC, please point them toward my house! It would be a big help.

I am so excited for you. Colorado is beautiful. If you drive through you MUST stop in St. Louis for a visit!
We will DEFINITELY be driving through St. Louis and I DEFINITELY want to take you out for a drink. In fact I am planning to call you once our dates are firm. We can leave the boys home with the kids while we have a night on the town. ;]

Hey, Kristen! You wouldn’t happen to be moving to the Western Slope, are you? ‘Cause I’d love to see more writers like you around here!
Cheers,
Marjorie
My CO geography isn’t so hot, so I have no idea. We’re moving between Denver and Boulder, if that answers your question. I think that’s more eastern, right?
kk, hoping she doesn’t sound like a knows-nothing-about-CO fool ;]
Oh my–moving again! But I can tell you, from experience, that Colorado is gorgeous and you’ll never get tired of the lovely scenery.
Are you crazy? Okay moving on.
CO is georgeous, pick any part doesn’t matter. Boulder/Denver besides being gorgeous (and on the eastern slope) are in a high rent district. They also suffer an inversion layer and there is a blogger covering this and general air quality at denverozone.blogspot.com/
We spent 4 of our first 5 years of marriage in the Springs. It was fabulous and we missed it terribly for a couple of decades but the crowding, cost of housing and unreliable work that would pay enough now keeps us from going back. Well, that and a granddaughter in the east.
NOOOOO!!! You can’t leave me!!! Shoot girl, I love knowing you’re right there. But it sounds like a terrific opportunity. Wow, to be young and free again! I’ll definitely make the trip to visit you – I’ve always wanted to be in Colorado…
Congratulations, sugar. And keep me posted!
I live between Denver and Boulder myself, and I think it’s a great place to write from (and live in general, except in winter, when US-36 inevitably slows to a crawl for no good reason).
WOW! I SO live in Colorado! I’m about 15 minutes south of downtown Denver. (The Denver Metro area is HUGE, and is pretty much a mish-mash of smaller cities that were swallowed up by Denver as it grew.)
Deb is right about cost of living being higher, but on the bright side it’s not as high as New York or California. :)
Feel free to email me if you want to talk Colorado stuff. :)
