I just wanted you to know I had one of my queries picked up by Parenting magazine. I actually sent them a small, written piece for their FOB section, and then rec’d a reply saying my pitch had been accepted and here was my assignment – to write a longer article for the FOB! I was surprised, as I hadn’t exactly sent a pitch and didn’t’ plan to do more reporting on the subject, but I was pleased as it meant more pay. My article on green schools is slated to appear in the April issue.
