www.inkthinkerblog.com — Apparently money is the hot topic in the freelance and general blogging community these days.
- Alfa over at Just Make Money Online asks how much money bloggers can make and cites three factors that affect our income.
- Guest poster Neal Shaffer offers eight questions to help you price your freelance writing and determine its true value at Copyblogger.
- And in a more generally business-oriented piece, an article in the New York Times offers four ways to save money while making your business greener.
- Also fun, Allison at Greener Assets shares some news on new green product lines from Amazon and Office Depot.

It’s really like any other creative field. Sometimes it’s based on the price you can demand based on your reputation and experience.
Sometimes it’s just a matter of what you ask for.
Sometimes its not what they’re getting, but what they’re paying.
If you have two people getting a hair cut, one goes into a Walmart and pays $20, the second goes to a salon and pays $200, the second one is going to think they have the better cut whether it is true or not.
I organize an event where some participants pay a little and some pay a lot.
The ones that pay a little take up 10 times as much of my time as the bigger sponsors do, even though the sponsors are paying 10 times more.
