That’s hilarious! My two best not-me Google finds are the Alexa Harrington who’s the head of the biomedical research lab back east somewhere, and the Alexa Harrington who does quite a bit of motocross racing and finishes with some good placing. My blog stuff comes up as well, which is reassuring.

    Apparently I’m:

    – a professor at the Scottish National Heritage,
    – an Independent Financial Advisor,
    – an air-conditioning expert from New Zealand,
    – a director of CARE in Australia ,
    – dead, from an injury received on a Scottish rugby field.

    Hmmmm…

That’s pretty funny. Maybe I can find a coupon online so I can actually afford you. My name is rare, but there is another me out there who is the assistant or something to some New York mayor, or gov fellow, so it always looks like I’m giving money to the government – which by the way I’m not.

Kristen, Just stopped by to check you out and I love the new format!
I wonder if that is somehow related to your commodification in google land? hmmmmm

My favorite self-search alternate is a 20 something with and active party life on my space–that gets a big “not me” these days. However the woman who leaves amazon reviews with a similar name always comes up first. Must be a lesson in that somewhere.

  • Kim Woodbridge Oct 27, 2008 Link

    I want one!!! :-)

My results were less interesting. They were pretty much all me except for a Kim Woodbridge who is involved in social work and psychiatry. Years ago I googled my name and found a Kim Woodbridge with a different middle initial who as recommending an adult toy – I did not locate her this time :-) Thank goodness!

And apparently I’ve been commenting on a lot of sites lately.

No, everthing about me is boring, but apparently my husband is a long lost murderer. Guess who’ll be sleeping with one eye open tonight….
