Last night, Jesse and I were in Richmond helping his sis with some stuff around her house. When I got home last night around midnight (we took two cars), I realized that the note I had left Jesse the night before, a fairly graphic description of Pickles having an accident in the middle of the night and how I lit a bunch of candles after I cleaned it up (so he’d blow them out before leaving for work), was still on the mirror — and people had come to see the house.
I called my realtor today (after e-mailing her last night with the subject line “We are morons”), and she laughed so hard I thought she was going to hurt herself. “Only you guys,” she gasped. She didn’t explicitly agree with the “morons” characterization, but she was clearly thinking it.
