www.inkthinkerblog.com — If anyone’s looking for a really fantastic way to spend a couple of hours, I highly recommend going to see The Prestige, starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, and Scarlett Johansson. It was quite easily the best movie I’ve seen in the last two years. It left me absolutely speechless. Go. You won’t regret it. And stop by Borders on your way to the theater so you can pick up a copy of the book. If the film adaptation is any indication, the original will be positively mind blowing.

www.inkthinkerblog.com — On a whim, I decided to download the new version of Internet Explorer. I’m so glad I did! It’s better than the old one, and it’s incorporated the things I liked about Firefox without sticking me with the things I didn’t like. AND I don’t know how they’ve done it, but every page I view is prettier. I’m not kidding. The text is sharper, the colors more vivid, just plain pretty. Definitely take a look.
Between IE 7.0 and MS Office 2007, my computer will be bee-yoooooo-tiful.

www.inkthinkerblog.com — Thanks to my endless complaining about my messy office, and Julia’s kind suggestion of a solution to my clutter problem, today I truly discovered the wonder that is Freecycle. A few quick clicks and a short e-mail later, I’ve already gotten rid of a good 50+ mags, and more folks are on their way to pick stuff up.
I’ve been saving these things for ages because I felt so certain that I’d need them as soon as I let them go, but I’VE NEVER USED THEM. I need to start with a clean slate, and thanks to Freecycle, I can help someone else make a change, too! Next time you think you have too much crap, check out your local Freecycle group and see if someone wants what you no longer need.

www.inkthinkerblog.com — Yes, folks, that’s HOARDER. Don’t be mean. I’m thinning the magazine collection THIS WEEKEND. Goodbye, Health from 2004. Goodbye, InStyle and Fashion (where did you guys come from anyway?). Goodbye, Southern Living, which I never read anyway. Goodbye, random issues of miscellaneous mags I brought home from the doctor’s office/library $.05 sale/used book store. You guys are OUTTA HERE!

Goodbye, overflowing bookshelf.

Goodbye, stacks of stuff I can’t find room to file.
